Jaime McNitt, PA-C, MMSc

Jaime is a native to Colorado, grew up in Littleton and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder.  After college she spent four years working in in-patient psychiatry in Colorado at both University Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital.  Shortly after getting married, she & her husband Casey moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she attended Emory University Physician Assistant Program. She received her Master’s of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies with honors in 2005.  She then worked in both Family Practice and Surgical Breast Oncology for several years.  She & her husband and then two children enjoyed 8 years in Atlanta before moving back to Colorado to be close to family.  She immediately joined Geraghty Family Medicine in 2011 and immensely enjoys building relationships with her patients in the clinic.  She & Casey enjoy Colorado’s finest by skiing, gardening, & hiking along with their three children Ella, Chloe & Dylan.  Jaime is a member of The Association of Family Practice Physician Assistants and volunteers in her community as a Girls Scout Leader.

Shannon Johnson, PA-C, MMSc

Shannon received her Masters of Medical Science degree in 2011 from Midwestern University-Glendale College of Health Sciences Physician Assistant Studies Program.  During her schooling, she developed a passion for pediatric, family and emergency medicine, and her career has primarily focused on these areas.  Upon graduating, Shannon practiced general pediatric and urgent care medicine in Arizona until 2014 when she relocated to Colorado and joined Geraghty Family Medicine.  She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.  Shannon has had multiple opportunities to practice medicine in underserved communities throughout the world and has been involved in humanitarian efforts in schools and homeless shelters locally, as well as in medical clinics located in Mexico and Mozambique.  Shannon also seeks to help educate future medical providers where she can and offers clinical training to several students annually.  Outside of medicine, she enjoys an active lifestyle playing various sports, running, and skiing.  She is actively involved in her local church congregation and its associated women’s group.  Additionally, Shannon loves music, reading and traveling.  Whatever she does, Shannon is most fulfilled when family and friends are involved.
